An adorable set of vintage Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplet toddler dolls, circa mid-1930s. Dolls are composition with blinking eyes, movable heads, arms and legs, natural hair and vintage dresses. Annette has a yellow dress with combined pantie/slip and Mary Jane shoes. Cecile wears a faded green dress with matching bonnet, combined pantie/slip and tie shoes. Emilie is clothed in a faded lavender dress with combined pantie/slip, matching bonnet and Mary Jane shoes. Doll representing Marie has floral dress, combined pantie/slip and tie shoes. Yvonne wears a pink dress, combined pantie/slip, matching bonnet and Mary Jane shoes. Annette, Cecile, Emilie and Yvonne all have gold tone pins with their names affixed to their dresses; Marie’s is missing. The dolls’ dresses and shoes are a combination of original and replacement items. Simple white metal frames to display dolls are included with this set.
Condition
-wear consistent with age and use, some dolls have scratches/crazing and finish loss, blown eyes, scuffs to bodies throughout, dress colors are very faded, hair is mussed, clothing shows wear and some clothing is not original.
