Chinese Enameled Vase with Taotie Designs
Item Details
A Chinese blue and white enameled vase with gold tone trim. The inside rim has a gold tone along with the scroll and square spiral handles and base. The geometric pattern is inspired by archaic Chinese taotie mask designs rendered in dark blue, turquoise, red, and white enamels with gilt outlines. It has no maker’s mark.
