Louis Comfort Tiffany Turtleback Glass Tiles
Item Details
A pair of Tiffany iridescent turtleback glass wall tiles. These rectangular end tiles feature three squares with curved ends. These pieces have blue, purple, and yellow hues and are marked ‘LCT’ for Louis Comfort Tiffany. Known as turtleback tiles, this form was one of the earliest glassware pieces produced by Tiffany, and formed within iron molds before iridization.

- some light scratches and roughness as well as one area of loss to a glass piece on the reverse of one of the tiles which is retained.
