A contemporary Louis XVI style upholstered chair and ottoman by Schnadig. The light walnut-finished chair frame features an undulated and molded crest centered by a flowerhead roundel above a padded back and a cushioned seat. It rises on short, stop-fluted legs flanking a festooned apron. Accompanying the chair is a matching back pillow and ottoman. Each piece is covered in gold, lattice-patterned upholstery. The underside retains a tag printed ‘Manufactured By / Schnadig Corporation’ and a sticker reading ‘Made In China’. For a related lot see 16AUS036-002.
