Antique Jules Moigniez Bronze Pheasant Sculpture

An antique bronze pheasant sculpture by French animalier sculptor Jules Moigniez (1835-1894). This sculpture was originally cast in 1880 with fine detailing and depicts a pheasant perched on leaf covered branches with a small item in its mouth. It is signed ‘J. Moigniez’ to the plinth.
