A vintage Seth Thomas Legacy 3W 8-Day mantel clock. Features black Roman numerals on the face with cherubs at each spandrel. The front glass door opens in order to wind the clock. The back opens to reveal the works which are embossed “made in Germany for Seth Thomas, A Talley Industries Co, Thomaston, Conn, USA. A403-001, Two Jewels, 7806, unadjusted.” Features the original paper label and instructions to the back door. This collection also includes original manual. In 1956, Seth Thomas discontinued manufacturing the No. 124 movement and began importing Hermle chime clock movements from Germany. Hermle is still making clock movements today. A key is included and clock winds and ticks. No further testing was done.
