Antique H.W. Rountree & Bro. Leather Steamer Trunk

Item Details

An antique H.W. Rountree & Bro. Trunk & Bag Co. leather flat top trunk, patented on March 12, 1889 and March 29, 1892, in Richmond, Virginia. The exterior of the trunk is covered in heavy leather with leather straps and metal protective elements. It retains a luggage label for Randolph-Macon Women’s College. The original interior tills and inserts are present, covered in a floral fabric.
