An offset lithograph after an original tempera painting titled Seed Corn, 1948 by well-known artist Andrew Wyeth (1917-2009). The piece depicts the stark attic of the Olson house with lines of corn hanging next to a window. The window overlooks a partial rooftop and a rural, Maine landscape. The lower margin bears the title and the artist’s name in center. It is presented behind glass in a green and gold frame. There is a wire attached to the verso and the piece is ready to hang. Wyeth grew up in Pennsylvania and is known for his depictions of landscapes and figures. Please see link for additional information.
Condition
- noticeable moisture stains to bottom of print and back of frame; some waviness to bottom of print; small tear to paper backing near lower left corner; verso retains wire for hanging.
