Item Details
A Hekman Duncan Phyfe-style dining table with chairs. The table is made of hardwood and wood veneers, with two straight sides, and curved ends. Inlaid, figured wood veneer frames the table top, which rests on slender, tapered and reeded legs with brass capped feet. A set of six dining chairs feature lyre-shaped backs, flat, curved arms, and square, tapered legs. The seats are upholstered in a cream-colored nubby fabric with a herringbone weave. The underside of the chairs are marked with the ‘Hekman’ maker’s tag.
