Historic Cincinnati Riverfront 1848 - 1988 Framed Lithograph

Item Details

An offset lithograph panorama of the Cincinnati waterfront with a view of the tall stacks riverboats and skyline, both old and new. These are reprinted from photographs of the area in 1848 and again in 1988. The 1848 photo is from a series of daguerreotype photographs by Charles Fontayne and William Porter which come from a collection in the Cincinnati Public Library. They are signed in gold pen and copyrighted by Mel Mittermiller/ Magic Light Studio. Professionally framed and presented on black, behind glass in a gold tone metal frame. A wire for hanging is attached to the verso.
