Antique Globe-Wernicke Barrister Bookcase with Leaded Glass Door

Item Details

An antique four-stack quarter-sawn figured oak Globe-Wernicke barrister 10.25 Grade 299 bookcase with one leaded glass door paned door and three plain glass-paned doors. The four-stack bookcase has a rolled top cornice and base drawer, with the top bookcase unit and two lower bookcase units designed with oak-framed glass retractable doors, and a leaded glass panel to the bookcase unit second down from the top. Each of the units is secured with metal banding to the sides. The bookcase retains the original Globe-Wernicke paper tag to the back panel of the lowest bookcase unit. The books are not included.
