An antique Federal mahogany ladies writing desk. This American made mahogany and satinwood inlay desk features a beveled top with tambour, or shutter, style slats that open from side to side to reveal several small drawers and slotted storage with a central door that opens to another drawer and slots. Desk has a green felt covered hinged writing surface atop two larger drawers with brass oval pulls and sits on tapered legs.
