An Ida Barbour Carmichael art pottery ceramic bowl. Ida Carmichael (1884 – 1959), although born in Canada, worked in Cincinnati Ohio and is known for her paintings, ceramics and teaching. A stylized flat handled dish with an ethnographic Norwegian pattern, rendered with black and white lines against a tactile buff colored field. Faintly inscribed to underside.
