Item Details
A Los Castillos Taxco Mexican sterling silver bracelet and sterling earrings. The earrings in this group are two circular dangles with open circle and crescent die cut accents on fishhook closures; marked ‘Sterling’ on reverse. The bracelet features five doves in flight, connected from one wingtip to another belly, with hand carved feather accents. The closure is a hand made hook clasp; marked on reverse with the circa 1942-1948 pre-eagle Taxco silver mark that reads ‘El Castillo – Taxco – Sterling – Made in Mexico – 552.’ The total approximate sterling weight is 1.22 ozt.
