A vintage Philco ‘Baby Grand’ Model 50 radio. These radios were first produced in 1931 and are in the same line as other cathedral models 20, 70, and 90. This radio uses five tubes and is a TRF (Tuned-Radio-Frequency) radio. The cabinet was built in a cathedral style with a flat front and has a mahogany veneer. There are three dials: one to control the frequency, one to control the volume, and one to turn the power on. The original front grill cloth was replaced with a red felt cover and the original power cord cover has mostly come off but the cords wiring is still sound.

- to Fair; item powers on but tubes need to be replaced, wiring may need to be repaired
