Courttney Cooper "Superfriends Hall of Justice/Union Terminal" Signed Limited Edition Lithograph

A signed and numbered limited edition lithograph titled, Superfriends Hall of Justice/Union Terminal by Cincinnati Visionaries and Voices artist, Courttney Cooper. This piece was originally painted with watercolors in 2005 and then printed and signed in 2009. This piece of artwork depicts nine of the members from the Justice League of America who evolved into the group known as the Super Friends, which included Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Robin, Aqua Man, Green Lantern, Flash, Black Vulcan, and Samurai. All of these superheroes are lined up standing in front of ‘The Hall of Justice’, which is actually the Union Terminal in downtown Cincinnati with the large fountain in the front and all of the train cars passing behind the building. Along the top, this piece is marked, ‘Getting Stronger Together’ with ‘SuperFriends’ written near the bottom in a rainbow of colors. This piece if signed and dated in print, as well as hand signed by the artist in the lower right corner with the edition number, ‘35/50’ also written in pencil in the lower left margin. The lithograph is displayed behind glass in a simple black frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.

Visionaries and Voices is a non-profit organization, established in 2003, that is based in the greater Cincinnati area who specializes in providing artistic, cultural, and professional opportunities for artists with disabilities. Their goal as a company is to give these visual artists the proper tools and support they need to become successful while still having fun, including studio space to work, supplies, exhibition opportunities, and much more! There are currently more than 125 artist who actively contribute to the arts community through educational, creative, and strategic partnerships with local and regional artists, as well as schools and businesses too.

- Each piece of artwork was immediately wrapped in plastic (after the photography and cataloging) for added protection.
