A signed acrylic painting on canvas titled, Mary, circa 2003, by Cincinnati artist, Paul Lewis. This beautiful painting depicts a portrait of the American singer, song writer, and actress, Mary J. Blige, best known for being one of the few entertainers throughout history to have eight or more albums reach multi-platinum status. This piece of artwork features an abstract style that utilizes a wide color palette, including gray, yellow, brown, red, pink, purple, white, orange, and black hues. The painting is signed to the front as well as the verso.

This photograph originally hung at Club Clau in Cincinnati, which was named by Conde Nast Traveler one of the top clubs in the world in 2004.

Condition

- Canvas stretched around a rectangular wooden frame. Each piece of artwork was immediately wrapped in plastic (after the photography and cataloging) for added protection.
