Item Details
A set of John F. Kennedy and George McGovern presidential campaign buttons. The large button to the left is white with JFK’s face to the center and the words ‘For the Leadership We Need, Kennedy for President’ around the border from the 1906 presidential campaign. The lapel pin on its original board is modeled after the JK 60 boat designed by Country Wide Advertising Corporation, New York, NY. The second button features George McGovern and Thomas Eagleton to the center and the words ‘Come Home America, McGovern Eagleton’ to the red and blue borders.
Condition
The Kennedy button is spotted from age and the color is slightly worn on the McGovern button.
