A signed oil painting on canvas by listed artist Phil G. Jensen (American, 1945-1991). The painting depicts a male figure standing in a lonely southwest landscape, with white-tinged mesas in the distance. In the foreground are yellow grasses and white-tinged sage. The white clouds hang in pale blue sky, surrounding a ghostly silhouette of a Native American pottery jar. The painting is signed ‘p.g. Jensen’ to the lower left corner, and is presented in a carved and gilded wood frame with a white linen fillet edged with gold. Ready to hang.
