William and Mary Style Sideboard

Item Details

A William and Mary style sideboard. This sideboard, with walnut finish, features burl wood veneer on the door and drawer fronts. It has two hinged doors on the left and right side. The doors have scroll work carved into an arch above a panel of burl wood veneer. The doors open with brass toned rings. Behind the doors are compartments and pull out drawers. Centered between the doors are two stacked drawers, a shallow one on top and a deep one below. The drawers have dovetail joinery and brass toned ring pulls. The piece stands on four turned front legs, with turned stretchers connecting to each and to the back. No markings to the piece.
