"Eternal Wishes of Good Fortune" Chokin Plates from The Hamilton Collection

A collection of twelve Chokin style plates. The plate come from the ’ Eternal Wishes of Good Fortune’ line by the Hamilton Collection. The plates are decorated in the Chokin style, which features Japanese style scenes created in gilding on white porcelain. Each plate represents one of the twelve eternal wishes of good fortune: peace, fertility, youth, longevity, love, purity and perfection, marital bliss, illustrious offspring, fortitude, friendship, beauty, or immortality. The plates each have their original boxes and paperwork.
