An offset lithograph after an original pen and ink illustration by Freddie Ellis titled The Teacher. It features an African American man in jacket and hat instructing a young boy with a book open on a table between them. The print is signed in the plate to the lower right. Inscriptions in the lower margin are ‘The Teacher Illustrated in ball-point pen’ to the lower left and ‘by Freddie Ellis 1982’ to the lower right. The unframed print is in a protective plastic envelope.
