Serpentine Jade Figurines and Chinese Seals

A collection of carved stonel figurines and Chinese seals (sometimes known as ‘chops’), including a horse, a bird, an elephant, and a bear. Also included are two boxed sets of seals and red ink in ceramic containers decorated with dragons; one seal reads ‘Betty’ and one reads ‘Edgar Hatrick.’ The ceramic ink pots are marked with a four-character Qianlong reign marks, however are of 20th century production. The horse and the bird of paradise are serpentine jade, the Alaskan polar bear is nephrite jade, and the elephant is onyx.

• This item has been tested and verified by an independent GIA certified gemologist.

Condition

Horse mane has small chip. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
