Item Details
A signed, limited edition serigraph by César Baldaccini (1921 – 1998) titled Automobile Compression. The French sculptor and member of the Nouveau Realism art movement is best known for his use of compacted cards and recycled metals. This piece, produced circa 1980, is numbered 4/40 to lower left and signed to lower right of main image, both in pencil. Mounted beneath a single layer of white and gold tone matting, this work is presented behind glass in a gold tone frame with a natural finish. Hanging wire present to verso.
