Large Power Loomed Kerman-Style Area Rug

A large power loomed Kerman-style area rug features a tan rug with black and brown patterns. It features a large central medallion in cinnamon, tawny beige, nutmeg and black in a floral and scrolled pattern. Scattered over the warm sand-colored field are smaller floral sprays with similar coloration. the spandrels feature delicate scrolled and foliate patterning in the same colorway. the wide principal border repeats the pattern in a dense motif with large palmettes and scrolled vine work. It has applied wool fringe to either end and is unmarked.
