An offset lithograph after a painting by Mary Cassatt (1844 – 1926) titled Mother & Child. An American painter and print maker, known for her contribution to the impressionist movement, Cassatt depicts the image of a brunette nude child being comforted by its mother dressed in a simple white dress with her hair up in a bun. Signed in plate to the lower right corner, the piece is mounted beneath a single layer of cream colored matting, this work is presented behind glass in a wood frame. Hanging wire present to verso.
