A pencil signed limited edition serigraph titled Tulip by listed Cleveland watercolorist Clarence Holbrook Carter (1904-2000), created in 1977. The print depicts an abstract, tall white oval with a black oval center on an orange field. This print is number 15 in an artist proof edition of 30. It is signed and dated in pencil to the lower right and numbered in pencil to the lower left. Presented behind glass in a chrome frame with black matting and a hanging wire to the verso.
Carter was born in Portsmouth, Ohio and studied at the Cleveland School of Art. He is a member of the American Watercolor Society and is known for his precise us of form and quick color washes.
