Decorative Chinese Satsuma Style Vase

Item Details

A Chinese vase decorated in the Japanese Satsuma style. This piece is vibrantly painted from lip to base with golden borders and painted scenes in the traditional Japanese style. The main scene depicts a group of women wearing kimonos along the shore of a pond. The bottom is marked ‘Made in China, Satsuma.’ This vase is similar to one found in 16AUS038-158.
