German Silver Flatware Set
Item Details
A set of German silver flatware. These feature curving shoulders, narrow stems with narrow borders, and scalloped handles, monogrammed with a crown above an ‘M’. There is a total of twenty four pieces; six dinner knives, six dinner forks, six tablespoons, and six teaspoons. Each is marked with the reichsmark of a crescent and a crown, silver standard mark ‘800’, and an unidentified maker’s mark. The knife blades are marked ‘Nirosta’, the patented stainless steel. The total approximate weight, excluding knives, is 11.52 ozt.
