Antique Eagle Liqueur Angostura Bark Bitters Amber Glass Bottle

An antique, early 1900s, angostura bark bitters bottle comprised of pressed amber glass. The, now empty, bottle once contained liqueur distilled by The Eagle Liqueur Distillery, a pseudonym for Rheinstrom Brothers, both Cincinnati, Ohio companies, and was in operation from approximately 1902 to 1916. It is marked in mold on the front of the globe-shaped body ‘Eagle Liqueur Distilleries, Eagle, Angostura Bark Bitters’, and marked to the underside ‘Patented Feb. 4 1902’.
