Henry Pearson Limited Edition Serigraph "Trinity III - Variant"

An unsigned limited edition serigraph titled Trinity III-Variant by American Op artist Henry Charles Pearson (1914-2006) produced in 1972 for the Licht Editions Limited Edition Serigraph Calendar. The print depicts a bright lime green circle with branching dark green lines radiating from its center. This print comes from an edition of 3000. There is a label affixed to the verso with title, artist name, and artist information. Presented behind acrylic glass in a gilt frame with a geometric pattern and a wire to the verso.
Pearson was born in Kinston, North Carolina and studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Yale University. He is known for his design of swirling lines and inked whorls that were influenced by his work on topographical maps while serving in the army.
The calendar was offered to the members of the Museum of Modern Art and a few select galleries and consisted of 12 original serigraphs by 12 different contemporary international artists in the early Seventies. It was created in an edition of 3000 and spiral bound, each month has a different serigraph that can be easily framed.
