Baccarat Style Vintage Crystal Chandelier

A vintage European crystal chandelier, in the style of Baccarat. The oversized nine light chandelier has an upper crystal canopy from which are suspended notched octagonal spear shaped pendants. The canopy ties into an upper central chandelier, with a segmented and fluted vasi-form crystal stem, and delicate curved silver-toned elements with faceted pear shaped pendants. The central body of the segmented stem has nine graceful curved arms with plain nozzles and foliage shaped bobeches, from which hang notched spear shaped pendants. The whole of the piece is festooned with swags and various sized hand-cut and hand-blown pendants. The chandelier, formerly fitted for candles, has been electrified and has wax socket covers.
