Danish 826 Silver Serving Utensils
Item Details
A group of Danish 826 silver serving utensils, all bearing the ‘CHF’ assayer mark of Christian F Heise (1904-1932). This collection includes a 1931 ladle by Joh H Paulsen, that has a side shallow spout on the oval bowl, round shoulders, and a delicate scroll-edged handle. Also included are two 1931 identical berry serving spoons, also marked for the Joh J Paulsen company. They have a round bowl with fluted base, a banded shoulder, and a hand hammered foliate handle. The third spoon, from 1924, is very similar in appearance and has an unidentified ‘I.H.P’ makers mark. The handles are monogrammed on verso. The total approximate weight is 3.8 ozt.
