An offset lithograph after the 1971 painting Koska-Quemer by very well-listed French/Hungarian Op Art artist Victor Vasarely (1906-1997), produced in 1972 by Editions du Griffon. The image depicts an optical illusion of circles and squares in hues of orange, blue, and green. It is signed in plate to the lower center and publishing information printed to the lower left of the verso. Presented between two pieces of glass in a silver tone frame.
Vasarely was often referred to as the “Father of the Op-Art Movement,” and his remains some of the most recognizable from the mid-20th century.
