A collection of Carl Beck (American, 20th Century) landscape paintings. The oil on board paintings depict Colorado mountain scenes rendered in confident strokes in bold colors. One scene depicts a rugged, snowcapped mountain peak with yellow aspens and snow-covered fir trees. One depicts a steep mountain slope in spring, covered with brilliant flowers, with a pair of snow-capped peaks in the distance. The third painting depicts high canyon walls, surrounding a dense evergreen forest.
