Pre-Prohibition Era Mirrored Tiger Oak Back Bar

A beautiful, pre-prohibition era back bar comprised of quarter sawn tiger oak with a mirrored back, circa the late 1800s to the early 1900s. This antique back bar features a carved top cornice with detailed foliate carvings below, including one in the center and one on each side, which are centered above the three mirrors below. There is one large square mirror in the middle and a smaller rectangular mirror on either side with a brass and glass light fixture above each, which are separated by thick reeded columns in between, as well as along the outsides. The bar top extends over twelve feet with tons of storage underneath, including four drawers with three sets of double doors below, which open to reveal a single shelf on the interior of each. Lights were tested and worked at time of cataloging.

Condition
- Minor nicks and scratches throughout. Wear consistent with age and use. Two out of three sets of doors do not latch shut. Key not included. Drawers are hard to push in and get stuck. Both lights worked at time of cataloging. Overall good condition for age.
