Chinese Teapot and Cups
Item Details
A teal Chinese tea set complete with a teapot, two teacups, and a bowl. The bowl is hand-painted and glazed with pink and yellow organic shapes. The teapot displays an organic design with flowers and foliate designs in shades of blue, red, green and white. It also features two Chinese characters ‘無疆’ (wu jiang) on either side of a central floral medallion. The characters literally mean ‘no border,’ and translate to ‘limitless,’ a sentiment of longevity, and also feature on the teacups.
Condition
- bowl is cracked and repaired. Teapot and cups are in good condition.
