Hougen, published by Abingdon Press in 1955; Two Hundred Years at the Falls of the Ohio: A History of Louisville and Jefferson County by George H. Yater, published by the Filson Club in 1987; Plant Life of Kentucky: An Illustrated Guide to the Vascular Flora by Ronald L. Jones; Kentucky: Land of Tomorrow ed. Thomas H. Appleton, Jr., Melba Porter Hay, James C. Klotter, and Thomas E. Stephens, published by the Kentucky Historical Society Foundation in 1998. Also included are Louisville Panorama by R. C. RIebel (1960), Kentucky’s Black Heritage by the Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Commission on Human Rights (1971), Real Life: Louisville in the Twenties by Michael Lesy (1976), and April 3, 1974: Tornado! edited by Samuel Thomas (1974).
