A Korean wooden jewelry cabinet. This unique cabinet features a wide flat top with curled ends, and a body that becomes slightly more narrow from top to bottom, all supported on decorative carved legs and feet, joined back to front with stretchers. The cabinet boasts twelve small drawers in a grid, with brass tone looped finger handles, each also carved with two Chinese characters, and a larger compartment beneath covered by two swinging doors on butterfly shaped hinges, with a butterfly shaped brass tone handle. This piece is unmarked.
