An original oil painting on canvas signed to the lower right in red paint by artist Larry Mayer. The image depicts an illustration of an early 1900s snowy winter scene in rural America, in which a man approaches a simple cabin in the woods, sitting on a pile of logs in a horse-drawn sleigh as a woman emerges from the house to meet him. The painting is mounted behind a linen liner with wood fillet in a beveled wood frame with a speckled stained finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.

Condition

- finish of frame is worn. Linen liner has stains throughout.
