José Puyet Padilla "Manolita" Giclee on Board

A large giclee print on canvas board after a painting titled Manolita by Spanish artist, José Puyet Padilla (Spain,1922-2004), best known for his modern impressionist paintings. This reproduction print is based on the original painting by Puyet, which features a lovely young woman who is wearing a red dress and white lace bonnet with a dreary, dark sky in the background comprised of black, grey, blue, and brown hues. The piece is signed in print in the lower left margin with a brass plaque near the bottom marked, ‘Manolita Puyet’, which is displayed in a gold gilt frame with a wire for hanging to the verso.
