An original artist’s proof serigraph by listed American landscape artist James Hagen (1927-), titled Long View. This beautiful minimalist landscape depicts the moon rising over a placid lake. The silhouette of tall spindly trees surround the lake, casting long reflections onto its surface. The entire image is created in flat matte areas neutral brown, orange, and white ink. The print is signed, titled, and labeled as an artist’s proof in pencil in the lower margin. It is presented behind glass in a beveled wooden frame with a thin stripe of silver metallic finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso, along with an artist’s biography.
