Vintage Renaissance Style Buffet Cabinet

Item Details

A vintage Renaissance style small buffet cabinet comprised of walnut with ornately carved details throughout. This beautiful cabinet features a carved egg and dart style pattern around the top perimeter with a single large door below that is decorated with floral and scroll carvings, which opens to reveal a large interior storage space. Lastly, there is a detailed carved apron underneath that is comprised of swirled scroll designs, while the entire buffet is supported by two large, reeded ball feet in the front with straight legs in the back.

This piece was purchased from the American cartoonist, Jim Borgman, by the current homeowners, .who also happen to be good friends with him. Jim Borgman is a well-known political cartoonist who is a native to the Cincinnati area.
