Vintage Renaissance Style Tall Walnut Bar Cabinet

Item Details

A vintage Renaissance style tall bar cabinet comprised of walnut with ornately carved details throughout. This beautiful piece features a single large door to the front with carved floral and scroll motifs, which opens to reveal two large shelves. There is a detailed carved apron underneath the top as well, that is comprised of swirled scroll designs. The entire top is supported by two turned legs in the front, which are comprised of large carved acorn figures with round, reeded ends, and two straight legs along the back with a stretcher around the entire base.

This piece was purchased from the American cartoonist, Jim Borgman, by the current homeowners, .who also happen to be good friends with him. Jim Borgman is a well-known political cartoonist who is a native to the Cincinnati area.
