An Earline Heath King (American 1913-2011) original clay sculpture titled Emerging depicting a youthful woman emerging from the clay surrounded by thickly cascading tresses. This dramatic piece sits on a square marble base with a brass plaque which reads ‘Emerging Heath King’. Inscribed in the clay is ‘Heath King ’92’. Included is a copy of ‘The Wonderful World of Sculpture’ authored by the artist which showcases this piece along with many others.
