Sphinx by Oriental Weavers "Patina" Wool Area Rug

A Patina machine-made floral area rug by Sphinx Oriental Weavers, comprised of a 100% wool pile, made in Egypt. This lovely area rug features an orange field in the center with elegant floral and acanthus leaf motifs throughout, surrounding a small central medallion, in shades of green, orange, yellow, red, and tan, which is then surrounded by one major border and two minors. The large border features a tan background with a similar repeating floral design and a bright, colorful palette including teal, brown, yellow, orange, red, and green hues of all different shades. There is a single small border on both sides of the larger border with a simple green, yellow, and brown decorative design. The mocha fringe to either end was hand knotted to decorate and secure the ends. Tagged to reverse.

Condition

- Wear consistent with high traffic use; some discoloration. Would benefit from cleaning.
