A Miraz Bokhara-style area rug with a 100% pure worsted new wool pile, made in Belgium. This beautiful machine-made area rug features traditional Afghan elephant’s foot Tekke medallions in white, grey, dark blue, and yellow on a deep red field, which is surrounded by a compound border, all varying in size, including a large paneled border with a sunburst motif in the center of each square. The area rug also includes sewn, applied white fringe on either end and a tag with the maker’s mark under one corner.

Condition

- Wear consistent with age and use. Discoloration and bleeding to fringe. Would benefit from cleaning.
