19th Century Pine Cobbler's Bench

An antique pine cobbler’s bench circa the late 1800s. This unique, primitive piece features a vertical storage cabinet on the left with twelve small drawers total and three storage slots along the bottom, which rests on a short, rectangular side table with three drawers in the front and a small chair attached to the right side. The chair features a backrest with a rounded top and a leather seat. This entire piece is supported by six tapered legs.
A cobbler’s bench is a very unique workstation comprised of a seat, various storage for tools and supplies, and some type of flat working area, which was formerly used by cobblers to make and mend shoes, along with other leather goods.

Condition
- Sturdy. Wear consistent with age and use. Nicks, scratches, and dents throughout with some discoloration/staining to wood. Wear to leather seat including scratches, discoloration, drying out, and thinning. Wear to some drawers—don’t close right or all the way. One drawer is missing on table. Overall GOOD condition for age.
