An original oil on canvas painting of a bald eagle taking off into the air from a submerged stump, signed in paint to the lower right by artist Lewis, circa 1970. The painting is mounted behind a linen liner with dark stained wood fillet in a beveled wood frame with a hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- accretion on canvas and frame. Finish of frame has some wear around the edges.
