A Chinese handscroll after Xu Beihong’s ‘Eight Steeds.’ The scroll features a black ink painting on paper after Xu Beihong’s (徐悲鴻, 1895–1953) ‘Eight Steeds.’ Xu Beihong is known for his painting of horses. The painting is mounted on white silk brocade, trimmed in brown paper. The scroll features a fabric covered dowel at each side for presentation. The scroll is presented rolled in a gold tone fabric covered box.
